Food
Beauty's Luncheonette is a diner at 93 Mont-Royal Avenue West, on the corner of Saint-Urbain Street, in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was founded in 1942 by Hyman "Hymie" Sckolnick and his wife Freda, who paid $500 for a stationery store and snack bar called the Bancroft in what was then the heart of the city's Jewish garment district and began serving hot dogs and quick lunches to factory workers.
