Applegate Lake is a 988-acre reservoir located in the Rogue River–Siskiyou National Forest about 27 miles southwest of Medford in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is 16 miles south of Oregon Route 238 along Applegate River Road and slightly north of the Oregon–California border.
