Leatherstocking Falls also known as "Panthers Leap", "Bear Cliff Falls" and "Deowongo Falls", is located on Leatherstocking Creek north of Cooperstown, New York. Deowongo translates to "place of hearing", coming from the Oneida Iroquois nation’s language.
