The Hermitage is a National Historic Landmark and museum located in Davidson County, Tennessee, United States, 10 miles east of downtown Nashville in the neighborhood of Hermitage. The 1,000-acre+ site was owned by President Andrew Jackson, the seventh president of the United States, from 1804 until his death there in 1845.
