Your exact location is never shown to anyone.

Only public places, like parks, trails and museums, can be pinned. Never homes or addresses, so your stamps can't show your daily routine. How this works

Who sees new stamps

The starting choice for each new stamp. You can change it on any stamp later.

Home area

A general area, never an address. It's the middle of your Home Safe Zone, and where Explore and the Map start.

Home Safe Zone

On for new accounts; you can switch it off here. When it's on, stamps close to the middle of your home area stay off what friends see. They're still in your own passport.

¼ mile5 miles

It's measured from the middle of your home area, not from your address. If you live in a city, a smaller zone hides fewer downtown places.

Your home area covers a whole region, so there's no middle to measure a Home Safe Zone from, and it can't hide any stamps. Pick the town nearest you in Home area to use it.

Sharing delay

Friends see a new stamp only after a wait, so nobody knows where you are right now.

Show friends the exact day

Friends see the day you collected each stamp, not just the month and year. Your sharing delay and every other setting here still apply. Nobody else ever sees the day.

Photo location removal

Always on

The location hidden inside a photo is removed on your phone, before it's ever uploaded or shared. A photo taken at home can't reveal where you live.

Were you here? places are only for you, and nothing is collected until you tap Collect stamp.
